Why does the world have to be so realistic, so non-fictional?

Do you make your own texture maps, or do you use shaders?
oh, and by the by, if you know of a website where I can download some shaders, do tell. I'm in need of some.

Look at the edges where the more brightly-lit walls meet the ceiling. There's a hint of orange or blue right along that edge, which is the classic subtle refraction effect. Basically it's the first step towards the glass becoming a prism.
I have a suspicion that might be due to some sort of setting somewhere that you're using, because not all high-quality renders have that going on. I love prowling the 3D Art>Interiors gallery, and I can always spot these.

Years are like fractals. The more you've seen of them, the more you appreciate the details of each one, rather than how many you've seen.
Any way looks very good, specialy the shadows on the objects. I love that deep on field

I agree with you. I thinks there is no need for 1200 .006 LC samples and 3/6 adaptvie. Maybe 1000 .01 sample and 1/8 adaptive will give the same effect and it also gonna took much less time. Did you used Sharpen effect (PS) or Catmull-Rom Filter (Vray). It disturbes my eyes a little bit. But the chromatic effect looks nice.
